Kathryn Hebert, Past President
Kathryn is driven to create a better future through community-based solutions, advocacy, and connected technology. She is a strategic visionary, change agent, catalyst, connector and a thought leader whose strength lies in developing partnerships connecting public, private and nonprofit sectors creating quality of life and sustainable communities. She is a fierce advocate of women’s issues throughout the globe. Kathryn has an undergraduate degree in Environmental Biology, a Master’s in Public Finance and a Doctorate in Business Administration.
She has been instrumental in the resurgence of several communities by enhancing economic and community development through public engagement platforms. Pivotal changes have been made possible by her reimagining communities including transportation, parking, mobility, and all supporting components. Accomplished and successful breakthroughs in the integrating of green technologies, art, and cultural assets. Beyond her experience in managing the business of government, enlisting resources, developing talent, and partnering with key stakeholders Kathryn creates realistic solutions for the benefits of both business and community needs to maintain a balance between political realities and policy direction.
Key community leadership positions included elected member of International Parking and Mobility Institute Board of Directors, President of the New England Parking Council, and Chairman of the Community Development Executive Committee of the Greater Norwalk Chamber of Commerce. She was appointed and elected as Chairman to the Sustainable CT Bethel Commission in Bethel, CT. She is Director of Community Development and Engagement for Score Western CT and on the Awards Committee for the Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce.
Kathryn founded TPMConnect, a small consulting company to continue her passion to provide collaborative solutions and value propositions to improve and create sustainable communities. She enjoys travel, writing, painting, and spending lots of time with family and friends.
